Amirabdollahian, who has traveled to New York to participate in the meeting of the UN Security Council, met with Guterres, and discussed the latest developments in the West Asian region (Middle East) and international issues.
He explained the operation of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran against the military positions of the aggressor Zionist regime within the framework of legitimate defense and international law.
"Although Iran was able to carry out this operation in a wider radius, only that part of the military positions of the Zionist regime was targeted," Amirabdollahian said.
